Standard Bench Mounted Table:

Although other products are designed for use in non-specific changing areas, BabyPoint however is unique in it's approach to designing products, especially for designated parent and baby rooms now commonly found in most of the UK's leading shopping centres, retailers, catering establishments, and transport systems.
To meet this requirement a range of bench mounted products have been developed for inclusion into new and existing schemes, built to the same commercial standards of hygiene, replaceability, and rugged construction as all our other products but designed to fit a standard 60cm work surface, thus saving the cost of bespoke post forming etc. whilst continuing to offer indemnified product.

Features include:-




A reinforced Polyester moulding shaped without any sharp corners to avoid accidental injury supporting babies from 0-30 months.
A symmetrically profiled moulding to accomodate both right and left-handed parents.


A tamper proof snap fit safety strap to BS 6684 1989.
Simple installation with a wide perimeter lip for surface bonding to a standard 60cm wide work surface.

Can be supplied to any BS or RAL colour reference. (Subject to quantity)

Can be supplied with the patented option of ‘Clothes Check’.

Wall Mounted Baby Table:

With the near universal use of disposable nappies the evolution of parents' requirements for safe, ergonomic and above all hygienic baby care facilities in the public environment continues to grow. Baby Point's unique range of innovative products are designed to provide durable baby changing facilities in a wide range of locations, and can be found at major airports, leading retail and catering establishments, public buildings, hospitals and clinics.

Features include:-

Unrestricted access to the baby, free of any wall mounted obstructions.

Reinforced Polyester moulding shaped to fully support babies from 0-30 months designed without sharp corners to avoid the possibility of accidental injury and free of internal cavities for hygiene and maintenance.

Because of Baby Point's design criteria all major components can be replaced in the event of extreme wear or vandalism, thus avoiding costly whole product replacement in these circumstances.

A tubular steel perimeter support frame for durability and strength, hinged on steel bearings with integral springs ensuring effortless use on a wide range of wall types, with the fixings provided. Available in either polished stainless steel for the most demanding sites or powder coated steel for more conventional applications.

A tamper proof snap fit strap to BS 6684 1989.



All Baby Point rigid products can be supplied with the patented option of ‘Clothes Check’, a measuring scale for babies clothing up to 18 months or 86cm designed for use with the baby lying down and hence accurate length sizing can be easily assessed.

All components can be supplied to any BS or RAL colour reference. (Subject to quantity)

The recommended installation height from the floor to the table (when open) is 800mm.

The wall mounting fixing centre distance of 405mm (approx 16„) allows for direct fixing to the carcass timber of suitably constructed hollow stud walls.

The wall fixings provided are suitable for sound masonry walls with a density in excess of 2.8N/850Kg. (lightweight block) Specialised wall plates and fixings are available on request.

All materials are in excess of the requirements for the Building Regulations ‘Spread of Flame’ requirement BS 476 part 7 1987 class 3. And the latest Migration of Toxic Elements requirements to BS EN 71 part 3. In addition, when used with the stainless steel frame a version to BS 6853 1987 class B5.2 for railway passenger stock can be supplied.

Floor Mounted

A new range of Trolley/Floor Mounted Baby Changing Tables from Baby Point

The Trolley or Floor mounted series of baby changing tables have been designed to provide a safe, hygienic, and ergonomically sound facility when a temporary or floor mounted requirements has to be met. This can occur on a variety of occasions from a short-term event such as refurbishment of premises, exhibitions etc. or day clinics on post natal wards and surgeries.

Safety

Large radii on all projecting surfaces to avoid the risk of bruising.

Unrestricted access to the baby free of surrounding obstructions.

Permanently fitted safety belt with a tamper proof snap fit closure to BS 6684 1989.

Large commercial duty, fully braked castors.



Hygiene

All materials are fully compliant with the BS EN 71 part 3 Toxicity regulations.


Construction

All trolley mounted tables have a perimeter (powder coated) steel frame with a longitudinal chassis transmitting the working load (Rated @ 125kg) to a centrally mounted hydraulic ram as in TM/1 options or a fixed height column as in the TM/2 options.

Further options are provided by the choice of fully braked 75mm castors (models TM/1AW and TM/2FW or with fixed feet (models TM/1AF and TM/2FF).

All materials are in excess of the requirement for the Building Regulations 'Spread of Flame' requirement BS 476 part 7 class 3.

All models are supplied in flat-pack form; bases being interchangeable on a taper-fit location, for multiple use sites.

All individual components can be replaced in the event of extreme wear or vandalism, thus avoiding costly whole product replacement.

All Baby Point Products fully comply with the latest British and European Standard for Baby changing equipment.
