About Us History Baby Point products were first developed and marketed through the current Managing Director's Industrial Design consultancy; JEG Design in 1993, a consultancy that had specialised in the development of light mechanical and ergonomic products for over 20 years. Baby Point Ltd. being later formed into a separate company in the summer of 1994. Design and Production The design led background is the key to the company's success as it allows the rapid development of specialised product to compliment the ever diversifying market for commercial baby changing equipment. Baby Point's production methods are equally innovative as all components are controlled under ISO 9000 quality control, with qualifying suppliers being selected to give the widest possible choice of materials and manufacturing processes available. Marketing This diversification has led to Baby Point products being specified by virtually all the major retailers in the UK for their Mother & Baby rooms, specialised hygiene companies marketing bespoke versions to their client bases, and public amenities requiring robust construction coupled to component replaceability for public toilets, leisure centres, libraries etc. In response to requests from even more demanding applications from the transport infrastructure such as Ferry and Railway Operators, Baby Point's expertise is now developing and supplying a range of bespoke low volume products to meet the needs and expectations of the travelling public. The Future Future products will look to widen the company's activities whilst always maintaining an innovative approach to the design and development of infant care in the public environment. |
