Baby Point products were first developed and marketed through former Managing Director’s Industrial Design consultancy, JEG Design in 1993, a consultancy that had specialised in the development of light mechanical and ergonomic products for public amenities for over 20 years.

Since then, we have been providing baby changing facilities to “best of the breed” retailers, airports, shopping centres, attractions parks, zoos, local authorities, such as Tesco, Asda, M&S, Debenhams, Mac Donalds, Heathrow, Gatwick, Center Parcs in United Kingdom or such as Auchan, DisneyLand Paris, Grand Parc Puy du Fou, Futuroscope, Beaugrenelle, Parc Zoologique de Paris, Thoiry, ADP (Paris airports) in France through Beresford, our French speaking countries distributor. We are now looking to develop our presence in EMEA through partners.

Our design is driven by providing the safest environment to change babies :
– Eliminating sharp corner or finger trap to avoid accidental injury
– Fitting a safety belt compliant to BS6684 1989
– Complying with BS EN 71 part 3 toxicity regulations and BS 6807 Fire safety regulations 1988 ignition source 5

As well as the best hygiene :
– Avoiding bacteria void
– Incorporating SteritouchTM microbial surface treatment or MicrobanTM bioside
– Easing the cleaning and facilitating components replacement such as safety belt

And also offering architects and interior designers :
– CAD files in dwg or pdf format
– Clear installation instructions and mounting kits
– An almost infinite colours options for a reasonable minimum order quantity

Our in house design facility can offer Baby Point expertise in the design of related equipment, facility layout schemes… for widely divergent markets and will be pleased to quote for their design and/or manufacture.

For example, formerly, we had the opportunity to design and to develop a bulkhead mounted baby changing table for mainline rolling stock; a highly specialised solution meeting the most demanding specifications.

The product illustrated having been developed for a major UK train operator and meeting the following Railway Group Standard GM/RT2120, Class 1 Spread of Flame in accordance with BS 476 Part 7 : 1987 as well Smoke Emissions to BS 6853 : 1999 Annex D and Structural Requirements Railtrack Code of Practice GM/RC2502.
